Colorgrading

The idea ?

Color grading is an important part of content creation, from still photographs to cinema. It is the creative thought process behind why color needs to be adjusted, rather than merely being a color correction tool. Color grading is used to denote mood, character, and time in a production, and should always be considered before any production begins. For cinematic production, color grading is a creative decision taken by the director or editor to best represent the story being told. When shooting the footage, the videographer should aim to create raw footage that allows for maximum flexibility when it comes to color grading. For still images, color grading can be used to drastically change the mood of a scene and further the story or communicate something about a particular character or setting. With the right knowledge and skills, color grading can be an incredibly powerful tool to create compelling content.
